Install desk

Put 5tratumOS on your hardware.

No subscription. No mystery cloud. Choose the correct image, write it safely and run the mining desk on a machine you control.

RECOMMENDED

AMD / Intel · UEFI

For modern mini PCs, desktops and servers. Write the UEFI ISO to a USB drive with Rufus, boot it, then follow the installer.

GOOD STARTING POINT
  • 64-bit x86 CPU
  • 16 GB RAM minimum
  • 1 TB SSD / NVMe recommended
Full-node storage varies by chain. Multi-chain systems need more disk and memory.

The newest complete installation media is v0.5.00. After first boot, use the signed in-OS updater to reach the current v0.5.8 release. Update-only .tgz files are deliberately not offered as fresh-install downloads here.

The complete route

Six steps. No treasure hunt.

Everything needed for a clean first installation, with deeper documentation ready when a machine needs something unusual.

01

Choose the right image

Modern x86 systems use the UEFI ISO. Older PCs use the BIOS ISO. Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 use the compressed arm64 image. These are full installers, not updater archives.

02

Verify the download

Download the matching SHA-256 file from GitHub and compare it before writing the installer. A clean checksum means the file arrived intact.

03

Write the media

On Windows use Rufus in DD mode. For Raspberry Pi use Raspberry Pi Imager. The target USB, microSD or SSD will be erased.

04

Boot and install

Boot the target machine from the new media, follow the prompts and install onto the SSD or NVMe selected for 5tratumOS.

05

Open your dashboard

Visit http://5tratumos.local/ or use the IP shown by your router. Create the first WebUI account; there is no default admin password.

06

Install your apps

Open the Community App Store, choose a node or mining app, then watch its sync and startup checks from one place.

Keep these open

Proper documentation for the awkward machines.
